Raised in the Fresno/Clovis area, she graduated from Hoover High School before earning her Bachelor of Science at California State University, Fresno. After graduating from college, she began her career as a benefits coordinator for a corporation, where she first gained experience administering health benefits and 401(k) plans. This role highlighted the importance of employee education regarding these benefits, as well as the need for business owners and managers to understand how to manage them efficiently and cost-effectively.

In 2017, she recognized a need within the community for individuals, families and small businesses to receive the same level of attention and benefits from a financial advisor that larger companies receive. She left the corporate world for the life of an independent financial advisor and continued to provide high quality financial education and resources to her local community.

She enjoys educating others about finance, assisting clients in planning for their futures, and is passionate about helping to ensure people can pursue their financial goals. Her expertise lies in guiding individuals, families, and small businesses through the process of creating financial plans that both protect and prepare them for the future.

On a personal note, she is happily married to Justin and is the proud mother of Brooklyn. The family includes two dogs and two cats, with plans to eventually add goats and chickens. She enjoys true crime podcasts, anything sci-fi or fantasy, is obsessed with the Marvel/DC universe, and loves spending time outdoors whenever possible.

Her business motto is, “Having a financial plan will help you live comfortably and retire happy.”

Nichola joined Nilmeier Financial and Insurance Services in 2025. She is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with United Planners Financial Services.
